Paper (Pros): 
1. Material is easily accessible 
2. Easier to cut 
3. Easier to fold 

Paper (Cons) 
1. Thin & Flimsy 
2. Does not maintain its original shape
3. Increasingly difficult to connect  as it requires more glue. 

Cardboard (Pros) 
1. Thicker than paper
2. Easier to connect the walls together as it has a thickness to it where the glue can sit 
3. Maintains its original shape 

Cardboard (Cons) 
1. Harder to cut through
2. Harder to fold as some folds may bends elsewhere. 
3. Hard to find cardboard with certain thickness
